About the studio

Bad Cow Studios is built into an old milking parlour on a beautiful farm in Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. All types of music/projects are welcome, and no previous recording experience is required. Contractual work can also be undertaken, including full album projects, which can include luxury accommodation on the farm.

The studio offers high quality digital recording via a Pro tools based computer. We've also recently acquired a fantastic sounding mixing desk once owned by Leo Sayer! A large collection of top quality, industry-standard and well respected microphones, plus some carefully selected valve and solid-state outboard equipment complete the package. There is also ample parking space for several vehicles and easy access for equipment etc.

The studio consists of four rooms; the Control room, approximately 14' x 17', where most of the recording equipment is housed, Live room 1, approximately 15' x 17', Live room 2, approx. 17' x 20 ', and the Drum booth, approx. 6' x 6.5', plus a vocal booth. There's also a kitchen, toilets, and showeroom.
